Chapter 2944 - The Ninedragon Imperial Tomb Falls

Chapter 2944 - The Ninedragon Imperial Tomb Falls

Aside from Feiling and Moran, Xiaoxiao—who was also willing to live and die with Tianming—was inside the tomb. The only one that wanted to leave was the Archaionfiend. However, there was nothing it could do except wail and curse Xiaoxiao for being so stupid from her lifebound space. If it had any other choice, it would have hidden in the Sky Palace Formation—why should it remain in the tomb? It wasn’t as if it could do anything to help. What was the point of dying with Tianming?

At that moment, Feiling and Xiaoxiao were both looking at Tianming. Over at the Silverdragon Palace, Moran and her sisters were in a state of exhaustion. They opened their dim eyes and looked at one another. Perhaps they couldn’t bear to give up this world or Tianming; however, they knew that it didn’t matter how strong Tianming was—he still stood no chance against those two powerful experts. But they would do their best to die before him because they were all a thorn in Demoness Yin’s side.

They teetered on the edge of life and death. At this moment, Tianming stood in the glow, turning back to them with a huge grin on his face. The young man didn’t seem to care about the oncoming nightmare. He was still himself, and his smile possessed an invisible power that stunned the girls.

"If you live, avenge me and make them pay," Tianming said.

"Big brother, don't!" Feiling's expression drastically altered.

In that instant, Tianming transformed the internal structure of the tomb, locking Feiling and Xiaoxiao in a dark room and sealing the Silverdragon Palace. Then he opened the entrance above his head.

"Come on! Let’s do this!"

Rising from the ground, he turned into a black and gold light and shot into the sky. He had left the tomb. Not long after, a red light and a ferocious white-haired fiend appeared at his previous position. They had broken into the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb only to find that Tianming was already outside.

Demoness Yin sneered and chased after him, but Mister Taihe moved even faster, turning into a white light that aimed straight at Tianming. Three rays of light blasted out from the tomb.

"Li Tianming’s out!"

When the experts from Intrepidus heard the news, their eyes suddenly lit up. The masses looked up and saw the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb falling toward the Sky Palace Formation like a meteorite.

"Get out of the way!"

As the core of the Flameyellow Fusion Formation, the tomb could of course enter the Sky Palace Formation. Those under its enormous shadow quickly dispersed. Although Tianming had chosen to land the tomb in the best location with the fewest people, the impact still caused the collapse of three continents and filled the sky with smoke and dust.

"Check if any Intrepideans sneaked in! Hurry up!"

Despite his inconsolable grief, Lin Xiao knew Tianming wanted him to do that. Mourning wouldn’t change anything. Tianming wanted to protect the Sky Palace Formation and those in the tomb. Even if Moran was the only one that fought alongside Tianming, he wanted all three girls to live. So he chose to do the honorable thing and lured the enemy away after the tomb was breached.

It wasn't until the smoke and dust settled that hundreds of thousands astral gods began inspecting the scene. The experts from Intrepidus were unlikely to have snuck in, given how difficult it was and how quickly the tomb fell.

Most of them had also been lured away by Tianming. After he had slaughtered Ba Xiao and Su Tian, the Intrepideans were enraged. All they wanted to do was get their hands on him.

"We're safe!"

"But what about him?!"

Tianming had used himself as bait. Everyone anxiously looked out of the Sky Palace Formation. The sandy, barren land outside was the focus of the entire Sun. The Intrepideans were making their way over because Tianming, Demoness Yin, and Mister Taihe were there. Without the Flameyellow Guard Formation or the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb, it was back to the basics. One man against all those powerful experts without any form of defense. It was impossible to escape.

"Well, there isn’t going to be another miracle this time...." He couldn’t help but feel sad.

It was the most tragic moment in people's minds. Tianming had done everything and given his all to fight for their survival, but it just hadn’t been enough; the disparity in strength was impossible to make up for. Bitterness and pain washed over their hearts like an invisible flood. Everyone stared blankly in his direction, tears streaming down their faces.

The girls broke out of the tomb.

"Ling'er! Little Fish! Xiaoxiao!" Dongshen Yue couldn't stop them. There was nothing she could do to stop them because her grandson was outside the Sky Palace Formation using his own two arms to fight the enemy. She also wanted to go out, even though she knew that one touch would be all it would take to kill her.

"Grandson! My beloved grandson!"

Many followed them, running toward Tianming.

Unfortunately, the Sky Palace Formation was under Tianming’s control. Even if Moran used both of her wonders, they wouldn’t be able to leave as long as Tianming refused to allow it. His relatives and friends, who valued his life more than their own, were filled with trepidation.

"Tianming!"

"Feng'er...."

They crumpled to the ground, uncontrollably sobbing. The girl in blue seemed to have gone mad. She pounded her fists against the Sky Palace Formation until they turned bloody, but nothing changed. Her trembling eyes blankly stared at the barren land in the distance as icy blue threads began filling her black pupils and her heart violently beat in her chest.

"He’s over there!"

Everyone all followed the speaker’s gaze. Amidst the yellow sand, the white-haired young man stood with a sword in his hand, surrounded by Intrepideans. Among them were Demoness Yin and Mister Taihe.
