Chapter 304 - Throwing The Fishing Line! Fish= Supreme Magic King!

"Mister, can you please bring me the bill," Elliot politely said to the very waiter who had been serving them since the moment they entered the Supreme Magic King's cuisine. He was acting like a gentleman since no one in this place had tried to step on his never. Rather than that, they had been treating him and Lisa way better than he thought they would treat an unannounced guest.

The waiter, who was holding the bill in his hand, walked up to them and asked with a smile, "Did you enjoy the dinner, sir, madam?"

Both Lisa and Elliot had to say the same thing.

"Yes."

Lisa enjoyed the food while Elliot loved every second of eating her mouth and tasting her tongue.

"Your bill, sir." The waiter presented the bill to Elliot.

Lisa looked at the bill, and her pretty eyes widened like saucers.

"50 Million? Why don't you just outright loot us?" She muttered.

Everyone here was an expert, including the waiters, who were at least Magic grandmasters, if not Magic Lords.

Thus, they heard her.

"The ingredients used to make the things that we ordered came from Beast Lords, Beast Kings, and various exotic herbs and spices, which is why it's so costly. Baby, they aren't ripping us off. And if you think about it, the price of these dishes is quite reasonable." Elliot explained. No one except for Lisa heard his words. His wife was a bit ignorant, and he didn't mind teaching her, didn't mind broadening her worldview. However, he did mind others eavesdropping on their conversation.

"How about we split the bill?" Lisa knew that she was the one who ate the most. She felt a bit guilty, and thus, she decided to support him financially.

"I can afford it, but if you are intent on paying me, then give in to three of my demands in the future." As for what he would demand from her, only time could tell.

"Three demands it is."

His family cat was exceptionally foolish. She had gotten herself into a deal she would regret in the near future.

Elliot looked at the bill, and he found out that he indeed needed to fork out 50 million magic coins.

Though, he didn't think that such a price was astronomical.

The chefs had used the finest ingredients and the highest of skills to prepare them. And so, Elliot didn't mind paying such a price to reward their hard work and perfect creation.

The thing was, he didn't have 50 million magic coins in his pocket.

Although He couldn't pay with magic coins, he still had a lot of things that he could use as a substitute.

Thus, Elliot didn't feel troubled.

A piece of paper appeared in his hand. On it was three different recipes, each with magnificent effects.

"Can you do me a favor and hand it over to the Supreme Magic King? Tell him that I want to use this to pay my bill." Elliot asked the waiter as he handed over the recipes to him.

The Supreme Magic King had told everyone to treat Elliot with extra care and respect, including this Waiter, who was a Magic Lord and a professional assassin.

"I am obliged to serve you, sir."

The waiter respectfully bowed to Elliot, and then he turned around, went up to the second floor, and walked up to Supreme King Drake. He was drinking wine and was sitting with his legs crossed. Everyone here knew that when he was like that, he was thinking about many things.

Even though his master seemed lost in thoughts, the waiter didn't hesitate to disturb him as he knew that Supreme King Drake had a gentle temperament and placed great importance on Elliot.

The waiter called out to him gently, gave him the recipe, and repeated what Elliot had said to him.

Drake Twilight smiled and wondered what was so special about these recipes that Magic Emperor Elliot believed they were worth 50 million magic coins.

He inspected the content on the paper with a squinted gaze.

There were three recipes.

The first was a wine that allowed anyone who drinks it to increase their energy capacity to a hundred units. It might not seem worthy of attention at first, but anyone with a good head over their shoulder would realize its true worth. First off, the ingredients needed to make the wine was super cheap and available in any market. Secondly, it worked on anyone with the talent to interact with magic energy. It meant that even Hollows or newborn magicians with the lowest talent could reach a step away from the channel opening stage within a single sitting.

The second was also a wine with a similar effect.

However, even a piece of garbage could benefit from it. Empty it on weeds, and they would gain a hundred units of magic capacity. The cost to make it wasn't astronomical, but it wasn't cheap either. However, because it could change normies into magicians, it was way better than any artifacts he, the supreme king, had ever encountered.

The third was half a recipe, but it was about something unbelievable!

To know the other half of it, he needed to enter into a partnership with Elliot.

Work with another person? It was something he didn't like doing.

Thus, he decided first to think things through and then meet with Elliot.

The onlookers saw that the scrutinization in their master's eyes vanished in mere seconds after he looked at the paper. Replacing it was a tremor that appeared in both of their master's eyes. It showed them that their master, who had never felt a thing and carried himself with laziness and a self of detachment from reality, was shocked to his core. The waiter and the chefs had never seen such an expression on their master's bitch-like face before. Even though whatever the content on the paper was out of their knowledge, they were sure that it must be something that could shake the heaven as it had even brought a change of expression in their lazy master. Just what was it?!

"It's more than enough. Make sure to thank Lord Elliot, give my personal information to him, and tell him that I will consider his proposal and give my answer within two weeks."

"I understand, master."
