Chapter 10: Instructor Nina Olsen
Chapter 10: Instructor Nina Olsen
Elliot noticed that the examiner wasn’t here and that everyone was patiently waiting for the examination to start after looking around the examination room.
“Look, it’s that loser,” Cain said to his friends, pointing at Elliot.
“For the past several years, he hasn’t managed to increase the count of magic energy his body can contain, yet he still has the face to come here.” Cain’s friend chided Elliot in a rather loud voice that reached everyone’s ears.
Elliot turned to look at the source of the familiar voice, only to see Rodriguez talking shit about him, and he kept on looking at him with a nonchalant expression.
“He’s just a fool who’s going to embarrass himself!” Cain exclaimed at the top of his lungs, feeling annoyed by his nonchalant expression.
A few students who thought Cain’s words to be funny laughed, pointing at Elliot, uttering words of ridicule.
Elliot huffed, rolling his eyes as he looked away from them while saying, “Still better than two street dogs barking at innocent passersby. And a bunch of retards laughing after hearing the barking of dogs.”
What followed after he said those words was pin-drop silence.
Not even a single student could come up with a way to retort him.
“You damned loser! How dare you act out!” Cain shouted, standing up from his seat with a face redder than a baboon’s butt, acting as if he was ready to use his ability to beat Elliot to a pulp.
“Calm down, man. Don’t destroy your future over a loser.”
Cain sat down on his seat after hearing the words of his Rodriguez.
“Goddamn!” Cain wanted to vent his anger and frustration on Elliot, but he couldn’t do that in a public place.
What if someone in the room records his actions and reports him to the association?
His entire future will be destroyed!
“Haha, damned fools,” Elliot smirked, crossing his legs, awaiting the arrival of the examiner.
After a few moments, a young boy with spiky blonde hair walked up to Rodrigues and his group of friends, and said, “Say, Cain, where’s Alexander?”
“I don’t know, Jack,” Cain replied in an unfriendly tone. He wasn’t a part of their group because they were bullies, and that’s why Cain disliked Jack.
Jack was Alexander’s older twin brother.
He felt tense and worried, feeling as if something bad has happened to his younger brother since he hasn’t seen Alexander in hours.
“Uh, where did he go?” Jack walked away from the group of arrogant youngsters while saying those words.
Elliot eavesdropped on their conversation but remained silent, having no intention to mention what happened to Alexander.
“Maybe he is still trapped inside that place? Hee, hee, hee!”
“That’s creepy.” One of the two students behind him flinched, moving away to sit at another place, while the other remained seated in his place, black bangs covering his forehead and eyes.
He was John, a youngster with a tale of his own.
“When is the examiner going to arrive?” John muttered under his breath while thinking, why am I even here? What the hell am I doing at the magician academy?
Several minutes later, once the gates of the Magician Academy closed and the magician at the age of sixteen age have gathered in the examination centers, a beautiful redhead with curves at the right place and perfect proportions entered the room with a pleasant smile on her face.
“My God! We’re so lucky to have Nina Olson as our examiner.”
The boys looked at the gorgeous woman with long and wavy red hair and ocean blue eyes with love in their eyes.
Nina Olsen walked up the stairs and sat on the seat behind the large crystal table placed in the center of the room. She was wearing a white fur coat, a half sleeves T-shirt, skirt, and knee-high socks that exposed some parts of her smooth, milky white skin.
“She is as beautiful as they say.” A girl said in a tone tinged with jealousy and awe.
“Miss. Nina is not only beautiful but is equally talented. She’s only 20 years old but has already reached the peak of energy channel opening realms. That’s not all. She’s also talented as an alchemist and is the dream of many young men.” A teenage girl with black hair and freckles on her face looked at the youngest magician instructor in history and exclaimed in a hurry.
Lisa was a hardcore fan of Instructor Nina Olsen, and she couldn’t help herself but list out all the amazing thing her idol has done in twenty years of her life to the people around her.
“She has grown up to become a beautiful lady.”
Elliot felt surprised as he looked at his childhood friend that has grown up to become a hot and mesmerizing girl with nice curves.
“Does she still remember me? I guess not. We belong to two different worlds, after all.”
He shook his head to get rid of the thoughts of befriending her as he could never be together with a person like her unless he performs impressive deeds and gain recognization as a magician.
“Silence! The entrance examination of the Magician Academy is about to start.”
Instructor Nina’s voice amplified by magic energy spread throughout the room and entered the ears of every examinee.
“Finally.” Elliot has been looking forward to this day for years.
A few moments later, once silence replaced the bustling environment of the examination room, instructor Nina’s gaze swept across the examinees before she began speaking, “I will evaluate your magic energy capacity, affinity to abilities, strength, and speed to determine your level in the entrance examination. For now, we’ll begin with the test in which I will assess the magic energy capacity and ability affinity of your guys. Are you all alright with that?”
“Yes, ma’am.”
The students nodded their heads, agreeing with her decision as it was for the best.
“Good!”
After placing two mystical orbs of the same size but different designs on the crystal table, Instructor Nina Olsen pointed at them, saying to the students,
