All People Want My Created Cultivation Skills

Chapter 20

C20 – Only Jiang Que Could Surpass Himself

Inside the Myriad Medical Cultivation Methods Research Institute’s laboratory on Planet A1314 in the Milky Way, staff bustled about amidst an array of state-of-the-art, large-scale equipment.

In his office, Guan Zhaoyong, the chairman of Myriad Medical Group, was intently watching a large virtual screen that displayed the laboratory’s interior. This primary lab spanned over 100,000 square meters and had cost a fortune to construct on the thriving Planet A1314.

The laboratory was outfitted with the pinnacle of human technology, including an advanced Intellectual Brain, large scanners, and observation instruments, each worth billions of dollars. Beyond the equipment, the lab employed thousands of staff members, each earning an average annual salary of a million dollars. Even the errand-running assistants were graduates from the Milky Way’s most prestigious universities. It wouldn’t be an overstatement to say that the laboratory was a monument to financial investment.

Abruptly, alarms blared throughout the lab, and the Intellectual Brain’s synthesized voice announced urgently, “Warning! An abnormality has been detected in Tester 7. Emergency rescue procedures will commence shortly. All relevant personnel, please stand by.”

At an experimental station, a young man sat cross-legged in front of a massive sensor, connected to it by dozens of data cables. He had just shown signs of distress as the Intellectual Brain monitored an anomaly when his Spirit Power entered an acupoint in his abdomen. The once gentle Spirit Power turned wildly turbulent, aggressively assailing his meridians.

Despite the sensor’s enhancement of his reflexes and his status as a top-tier cultivation prodigy, he was unable to retract his Spirit Power in time. The Intellectual Brain reacted, causing the medical station below to emit blasts of cold air while numerous tentacles reached out to Tester 7, initiating cryogenic emergency treatment.

As medical personnel hurriedly approached from afar, Guan Zhaoyong in his office seized his communicator and barked, “Abort the rescue! Continue the test!”

The Institute director interjected with concern, “Boss, the monitoring data indicates that Tester 7’s meridians and acupoints have suffered irreversible damage. If we don’t administer emergency care or halt the rescue, his meridians could be completely destroyed.”

“Halt the rescue and proceed with the test! I will compensate the tester for their losses according to the contract. Moreover, I will personally offer an additional compensation of 100 million US dollars. I want to see if they can create a miracle under these adverse conditions. Issue the order now, or you’re fired!” Guan Zhaoyong presented the Institute director with a tough decision.

After a brief hesitation, the Institute director issued the command, “Halt the rescue. Continue the test.”

The Intellectual Brain responded instantly. The freezing fog began to clear, and the tentacles withdrew. The rescue team also pulled back.

Tester No. 7’s expression of pain intensified. Once the chaotic and violent Spirit Power was no longer suppressed, it rampaged through his meridians. His meridians were ravaged to the point of collapse, and with a loud cry, he fainted from the agony.

No miracle occurred.

The Institute director and the entire staff were visibly disheartened.

Back in his office, Guan Zhaoyong calmly picked up his communicator and ordered, “Prepare the eighth tester immediately!” He then shut off the virtual screen and massaged his temples.

He intended to rest with his eyes closed, awaiting the start of the eighth test. Yet, he was too restless to find any peace.

Guan Zhaoyong had witnessed seven experiments in succession. He had recruited seven geniuses at great expense and provided them with the finest equipment and a team of skilled researchers. The outcomes, however, were profoundly disappointing.

Despite the assistance of devices designed to enhance sensory abilities, over three hundred geniuses had failed to grasp a cultivation method more advanced than the Chaos Spell.

The seven testers had improved their reaction times with the help of the equipment, but they were still unable to channel Spirit Power into their acupoints correctly. Sensing the error, they quickly retracted the Spirit Power.

Guan Zhaoyong couldn’t fathom why Jiang Que had so effortlessly developed a cultivation method when other geniuses, even with the aid of cutting-edge equipment and research teams, had consistently failed.

Jiang Que would have likely sneered at Guan Zhaoyong’s perplexity. Among these geniuses were many Peak Geniuses whose talent for cultivation was nearly on par with his own. But their rapid advancement in cultivation didn’t necessarily equate to the ability to invent a new cultivation method.

Jiang Que’s ability to create a cultivation method stemmed from his unparalleled talent in this area, the highest among all humanity. His sharp intuition, exceptional sensory ability, profound understanding, and extraordinary reaction speed were a unique combination. Only those with the strongest quartet of talents could craft a cultivation method.

If one’s talents didn’t simultaneously peak, they could only develop a lower-level cultivation method. For instance, a practitioner at Spirit Release Stage Level 9 would be limited to creating the most basic of methods. Even then, it could take them decades, and that’s with the prerequisite of inspiration.

It’s exceedingly rare for someone to refine a cultivation method at Spirit Release Stage Level 1, as Jiang Que did. Surpassing the enhanced version of the Chaos Spell is an impossibility. Jiang Que himself, despite reaching the zenith of human potential, cannot achieve this feat.

Only if Jiang Que’s sphere of influence were to explode to millions, or even tens of millions of square kilometers, might he stand a chance. Should he acquire a talent dozens of times greater than the current human pinnacle, he might craft an even more effective version of the Chaos Spell at Spirit Release Stage Level 1.

The only one who could surpass him is he himself, with the Strongest Talent System. The peak technologies of our time, while significantly boosting geniuses, fall short of endowing them with the extraordinary talent for creating cultivation methods that Jiang Que possesses.

As Jiang Que’s sphere of influence and talent bonus grow, so too will the chasm between him and the rest. The stronger a cultivator becomes, the more challenging it is to devise new cultivation methods.

Throughout tens of thousands of years of human history, many geniuses have devised methods to enhance personal strength, yet none have taken it further. The more powerful they become, the harder it is to continue growing stronger.

Jiang Que is the sole outlier. In the realm of creating cultivation methods, he is nearing his limit. At the very least, with his current talent, once he ascends beyond the Spirit Release Stage, improving the Chaos Spell will require more than just a few days.

If he aimed to develop a cultivation method on par with his own level, the challenge would be tens of thousands of times greater than devising a more basic cultivation method.

The more powerful he became, the more difficult it was to create a new cultivation method.

Even Jiang Que, aspiring to reach greater heights, had to depend on the Strongest Talent System to consistently enhance his talent.

Other geniuses simply couldn’t achieve this.
