AI Doctor : From Slave to Beast King

Chapter 105 : Tower of Helion

Thud.

The Decaying mole rat fell on the ground as blood started to pool underneath it. Damien heaved a sigh of relief when he saw that this menace had finally stopped causing trouble.

With a sigh he looked down at his ripped arm and the blood seeping from the wound at his back. He said to Dan, "You can use Vibrant Vitality now."

[Skill Activation.]

[Vibrant Vitality]

[100%]

[Wounds detected.]

The wound on his arm glowed before the rip in his arm was completely healed.

"I really thought I was going to die," he said to Xavier who walked over to him. His pants were hanging low on his waist as he looked down at the Decaying Mole lying on the ground. "Fortunately, I didn't even lose my hands or legs. I was sure that I was going to walk out of here as an incomplete man."

"Don't worry, Lord Damien," Xavier raised his head and looked at Damien with a teasing glint in his eyes. "Even if the monster had attacked you, that thing is too small for it to bite properly."

"Too what— small?" Damien questioned and after a short pause he realised what the man was trying to say. His expression turned dark as he pointed the dagger at Xavier's face and said, "Don't make me strip in front of you. Because I will surely do it."

"Will it change anything?" Xavier remarked.

"You bastard—"

Damien was interrupted by a loud ding as a notification bar appeared in front of him.

[You have killed a rare monster.]

[Congratulations for unlocking an achievement.]

[You will receive a reward.]

'I should be given a reward,' thought Damien as he looked at the notification bar in front of him. After all this was all hard work.

"Let's see what kind of reward I am going to receive," Damiem muttered as he tapped on the notification screen.

[Performance reward is being deduced.]

{You have received a new skill.}

[Acupuncture Gallery.]

As soon as he finished reading the words on the screen, a model of the human body appeared in front of him. From the top of the head to the little toe, every single acupuncture point was displayed on the screen.

"This…" Damien's eyes widened. If not for the fact that he had another thing that he needed to deal with, he would have already sat down to read the information displayed in front of him.

…This was really too good.

As a resident doctor, he only learned the modern medicinal procedures but he never paid any attention to the traditional ones. However , it seemed like the system was bent on making him omnipotent, even giving out an entire glossary of acupuncture points.

If he was to learn these acupuncture points, a lot of problems would be simplified.

It was indeed quite a sweet reward.

While Damien was studying the acupuncture dummy, Glen rushed over to his side.

"O' great one. Thank you so much for your help," he came to a stop beside Damien and bowed his head.

"Ah, Healer Glen. You did a great job," Damien praised while looking at the healer who shook his head.

He said to Damien, " Compared to you, I didn't do anything. It was all thanks to you that I was able to survive today. Don't worry, I will not say a word about this to anyone."

"Will you spare me the nonsense and wake your team members up?" Damien smiled at the healer. "I still need to talk about how the reward is going to be distributed."

"Y–Yes!" Glen turned to look at the three men, while Damien turned to look at Xavier. The man was picking something up from the corpse of the Decaying Mole.

He brought it to his nose and sniffed it quietly .

"What's wrong?" Damien asked as he looked at Xavier whose expression had turned sombre.

"Its Amplyifying potion," Xavier replied. His eyes flickered uneasily as he sharply looked around the forest. "This potion is used by the dark guilds to strengthen and mutate the monsters. It was banned ages ago but it seems like… someone got their hands on it."

Damien's brows furrowed immediately as he too looked around. "You mean to say those people went past this forest."

"They must have," Xavier clenched the piece of the broken shard and crumbled it into dust. "This is bad, this path leads to the Tower of Helion."

Damien had no idea what Xavier was talking about, but it made him nervous.

Xavier however didn't waste his time. He fetched the messenger orb from the sack that he was carrying and then called Wistoria,

"Xavier."

"They are heading towards the Tower of Helion," Xavier told Wistoria without waiting for the latter to speak.

When Wistoria heard that the dark guild members were heading towards the Tower of Helion, her eyes flickered with unease. Today was monday which meant that there would be a lot of beast men offering and praying at the Tower of Helion.

If those people were to play the melody of Doomsday at the Tower of Helion. It would be no different than a massacre.

"Understood, I am heading over there," Wistoria said to Xavier. She ended the connection of the messenger orb and turned to look at Levy before saying to him, "We are heading to the Tower of Helion."

Levy's eyes flickered with unease but he nodded in response. Squeezing the sides of his horse, he whipped it at the hind leg, "Giddyup!"

On the other side, Damien turned to look at Xavier. He asked, "Do we head over to the Tower of Helion now?"

"Yes," Xavier replied. They didn't have time to waste.

Damien frowned at his response before turning to look at the three men who were in need of critical help.

They seemed to have lost a lot of blood. If he were to leave them alone, the chances of them dying would be rather high.

After a quick thought, Damien said to Xavier, "You go first, I will follow you later on."
