Reincarnation. What a sweet-sounding word.
How could one not want a reincarnation when life was simply hard even despite one’s efforts? But I didn’t want it.
Just how good a draw could I get when my current life was already “this”? I could raise both my hands and welcome it with a cheer if it came with all sorts of fancy settings from novels, but unless it was that, I was too busy simply living my current life.
But I un-fucking-luckily croaked and reincarnated. And it was in a fantasy world. You really don’t know where life leads you.
But what could I do? I’d no idea if it was a god’s joke or a blessing of my parents who always wished best for their no-good son, but I would have to just diligently live again regardless of what my newly gained life was.
But.
Leaving aside all the other things, fuck.
My village getting completely erased from the Demon King Army’s attack in merely eight years after my birth was bloody-fucking-seriously crossing the line.
