Chapter 1247: Kings Gathered

In the sky above Abyssal City, four figures had arrived through the void to a place behind Li Jingzhe. The one taking the lead was none other than Li Tianji, the Lineage Chief of the Dragon's Blood Lineage.

The other three were Li Qingying, the Lineage Chief of the Dragon's Scale Lineage; Li Xuanwu, the Lineage Chief of the Dragon's Bone Lineage; and Li Jinjiao, the Lineage Chief of the Dragon's Horn Lineage.

Li Jingzhe had created such a big commotion that all of the Kings on the Heavenly Origin Divine Continent had been alerted to this fight. Now that the Kings from the Bloodline of Heavenly Emperor Qin had made their entrance, the Kings from the Bloodline of Heavenly Emperor Li would naturally make their stand as well.

No matter how much the five lineages usually fought amongst themselves, they would stand united against all external foes.

It was then that they looked at Li Jingzhe with complex expressions.

"Lineage Chief Jingzhe, you've hidden your strength well. You've gotten close to becoming a Triple Crowned King without anyone noticing," Li Tianji, the Lineage Chief of the Dragon's Blood Lineage, said slowly.

He had mixed feelings regarding this. After all, he was the first to become a Dual Crowned King in the Bloodline of Heavenly Emperor Li. In terms of foundation, his was the best. As such, everyone thought that he would be the first to reach that much desired stage.

Who would have expected that Li Jingzhe, the one who maintained the lowest profile amongst the five lineages, would overtake him and take that final step first?

Li Jingzhe responded calmly, "After being shut away and cultivating for so many years, I've gained the necessary enlightenment. You've accumulated many years of progress, so it'll undoubtedly be your time soon."

Li Tianji shook his head, deciding not to talk about this any further. He then turned towards Qin Jiujie and the rest that were hovering above the skies of Abyssal City. "Palace Master Qin Jiujie, this is just a friendly exchange. Do you need to kick up such a big fuss? You have the Blackwater Divine Transformation Formation and the Blackwater Guardians, plus the Kings from the Bloodline of Heavenly Emperor Qin have been summoned. If others didn't know any better, they would think that the Bloodline of Heavenly Emperor Qin was planning to go to war here."

Qin Jiujie's face was extremely dark. "You should be telling that to the Dragon's Fang Lineage’s Lineage Chief instead! He came over and wreaked havoc in our city for no good reason. If the Bloodline of Heavenly Emperor Qin just stands by and lets him continue, outsiders might think we are pushovers!"

Li Tianji laughed. "You are overthinking, Palace Master Qin Jiujie. Lineage Chief Jingzhe simply wanted to have a friendly spar with you. This exchange was the culmination of your friendship. There is no provocation here at all."

Hearing this, all the elites in the city looked at each other strangely. The Dragon's Blood Lineage’s Lineage Chief seemed to possess a silver tongue. The two parties had already engaged in a bitter struggle, yet he could still claim it was a friendly match?

Li Tianji sighed lightly. "If you really insist, all five of our Lineage Chiefs will have no choice but to stay here till the very end."

Although his words appeared kind, his attitude was firm.

Li Tianji understood that no matter what happened, the Bloodline of Heavenly Emperor Li would not sit back and watch the Bloodline of Heavenly Emperor Qin group up against Li Jingzhe. As such, his stance was very clear.

It did not matter if this would eventually escalate into a full-blown war with the Bloodline of Heavenly Emperor Qin.

After all, Li Jingzhe had an exceptional position. No matter how big of a mess he got into, the Bloodline of Heavenly Emperor Li would stand behind him all the way.

Thunderbolts flashed across Qin Jiujie's eyes at this point. All the worldly natural energy spanning hundreds of thousands of miles appeared to be boiling due to his fluctuation in emotions.

The faces of the other Kings from the Bloodline of Heavenly Emperor Qin were exceptionally gloomy too. Their gazes flickered as they pondered over how they could resolve this conflict today.

Malicious laughter suddenly echoed through the air. "Haha, Palace Master Qin Jiujie, the Bloodline of Heavenly Emperor Li is simply too overbearing. Do they think they can bully everyone? How about this? Shall our two lineages join hands and see if they are as strong as they claim?"

Countless gazes turned to a figure walking out of the void. It was a man that sat cross-legged on top of a giant tiger. Clad in his yellow, gilded robe, he gave off an impressive presence.

Some within the crowd secretly exclaimed, "It's the Divine Tiger King of the Bloodline of Heavenly Emperor Zhao!"

Divine Tiger King Zhao Zong! However, outsiders did not dare to utter a King's name casually.

Clearly, the Bloodline of Heavenly Emperor Zhao was interested in joining this conflict as well.

Li Jingzhe looked over at the energy projection and retorted calmly, "Zhao Zong, why isn't your real self here?"

The man on the giant tiger snorted coldly, refusing to respond to the question. Obviously, he had no intention of coming here personally. After all, he was only a Single Crowned King; the gap between him and Li Jingzhe was gigantic. He would undoubtedly lose in single combat.

A low voice reverberated in the air at this moment. "Everyone, this is the World's End River Region. The World's End River flows above us and there are countless eyes watching. Amongst them are also Other Kings. If you truly decide to start a war here, they'll be the ones rejoicing. The World's End River Region barrier will be destroyed and the entire Heavenly Origin Divine Continent will be opened up for the Others to lead an invasion."

Then an enormous white elephant made its way out of the void. Each of its steps was heavy enough to shake the heavens and the earth. On the white elephant sat a skinny old man holding a fishing rod.

Fish bait hung on his waist and a seven-colored fish was circling around him.

"White Elephant King Zhu Yuan?" Zhao Zong squinted when he saw the newcomer. This old man was a King from the Bloodline of Heavenly Emperor Zhu. Many elites in Abyssal City exclaimed in their hearts. This was truly an eye-opening sight for them. Today, the Kings from all four Heavenly Emperor powers had gathered here.

When the Kings from the other Heavenly Emperor lineages made their entrances, the thunder within Qin Jiujie's eyes gradually subsided and he regained his composure a while later.

He had forcefully composed himself.

"Li Jingzhe, you can leave now. Abyssal City does not welcome you," he said coldly.

As soon as he heard those words, Zhao Zong's eyes were filled with disappointment. Clearly, Qin Jiujie had gotten his temper under control and was not going to escalate this situation any further.

Today's matter was finally coming to a closure with Qin Jiujie forcefully swallowing his anger.

The other Kings from the Bloodline of Heavenly Emperor Li had made an appearance as well, and they would not let Li Jingzhe run rampant anymore.

Li Tianji revealed a warm smile when he heard this. "What happened today was merely a misunderstanding. Palace Master Qin Jiujie, you're welcome to visit the Dragon's Blood Lineage when you have the time. We will definitely play the role of a good host."

Qin Jiujie's face showed no emotions and he did not bother to reply.

Li Tianji was not bothered by the indifferent response. He turned towards Li Jingzhe and said, "Lineage Chief Jingzhe, I believe we're done over here?"

Li Jingzhe stowed away his bamboo staff and nodded casually.

Li Tianji sighed. Li Jingzhe was in charge of guarding Heavenly Dragon Peak, and they themselves were just energy projections that would dissipate soon. Hopefully, he would not create any more trouble afterwards.

With that, the five Kings from the Bloodline of Heavenly Emperor Li turned around and left.

Seeing that the conflict had concluded, Zhao Zong also took his leave in disappointment.

The White Elephant King from the Bloodline of Heavenly Emperor Zhu nodded slightly towards Qin Jiujie. Then his white elephant charged through the void and took its leave as well.

Just like this, the shocking clash ended abruptly.

Qin Jiujie beckoned with his hand, signaling for the other elites to tidy up the aftermath. Then his cold eyes stared at the spot where Li Jingzhe had disappeared from.

He gave a nod towards the other Kings from the Bloodline of Heavenly Emperor Qin, and they took their leave as well.

It was only at this point that Qin Yi and Chu Qing rushed over to the huge pit in the center of the city. The two of them saw the crushed body of Qin Lian and rushed over to help immediately.

Qin Jiujie's voice suddenly rang in the air, stopping them in their tracks. "Don't touch her. The remnants of Li Jingzhe's King energy is still on her body, continuously eroding her flesh and blood. This caused her to be unable to recover from her injuries. If you so much as make contact with her, you'll turn into a pile of bones instantly."

Qin Yi and Chu Qing stopped immediately.

"Palace Master, please save my mother," Qin Yi requested earnestly.

Qin Jiujie nodded. "You can take a step back."

The two of them took a glance at each other and left the huge pit, waiting in a corner not too far away.

Qin Jiujie waved his hand yet again, and a bolt of lightning energy flew out. It landed on Qin Lian's body and milled away the leftover energy left by Li Jingzhe. This once again inflicted excruciating pain onto Qin Lian, and her face twitched viciously.

After a while, Qin Lian recovered some strength, managing to crawl and pick herself up. Unfortunately, her flesh was still being eroded and she looked extremely pathetic.

"Palace Master."

Qin Lian's eyes were full of hatred. She looked up at Qin Jiujie and said, "Li Jingzhe is already a Quasi-Triple Crown. Are we just going to give up on the Genesis Seed now?"

Qin Jiujie's eyes were ice-cold. He pondered over it for a moment before he responded with an indifferent voice, "Quasi-Triple Crown... This was truly an unexpected surprise. However, Li Jingzhe has revealed his trump card in order to protect Li Luo. In a way, this may not be a bad thing. In fact, this is just the beginning. We will never give up on the Genesis Seed."
