A Villainess Should Be Strong

Chapter 106: The Story of Two

Chapter 106: The Story of Two

They were sitting in a lily garden one night, and Estraea suddenly had a thought.

She looked over to the Absolute, who was gazing at the starry night sky with gleaming eyes. Through these outings, they got the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in the world they painstakingly worked hard to create and enjoy the beautiful results.

The Absolute was in a trance as he gazed at the lonely sky.

"Hmm.. Rae just thought of another meaning for Sol's name," Estraea mumbled, poking the Absolute's arm to get his attention.

"And what would that be?" Turning his head to face the Goddess, the Absolute tilted his head.

"You're like the Sun. The universe's Sun. And Rae will be the Moon!"

The Goddess' excitement was contagious. All her emotions were always contagious and never did successfully escape when this bundle of emotions use her ability to her advantage.

"Did you know that the Sun and the Moon can't stay in the same sky at the same time?" The Absolute chuckled, knowing that the Goddess must've forgotten about it.

"Uh... Then, we can just make the Sun and the Moon exist at the same time..?"

"That wouldn't work. We created their positioning so that they would never appear at the same time, right?" Sol reminded.

"..Still! We are friends because we both, uh, exist in the sky..? Something like that. Anyway, it's a good thing, so don't question Rae any further! Rae is ending this discussion!"

"Whatever you like, Rae," Sol sighed. He knew that he could never win against the Goddess, who he had a soft spot for.

Another day passed, and they continued on with their usual tasks.

Estraea came back to the lily garden to sit with Sol. It was his favorite place, and every time she wanted to look for him, there was a ninety percent chance that he was there. She glanced at the vast and endless space.

Although she was happy staying with the Absolute, there were certainly sentiments that pushed her to want something more.

A whole new world filled with not just them, but tons of others that would scatter inside the realm and create so many scenarios and chains of actions by themselves.

Estraea didn't know how to voice her thoughts. She worried that what she says would make the Absolute unhappy.

Because ultimately, the decision laid within the Absolute's hands. In terms of freedom and small decisions, the Absolute left everything to Estraea, but he was a responsible Ruler who knew what was right and wrong.

If her wishes got too far, he wouldn't acknowledge it.

However, her desire still overcame her fears and made her utter a few sentences on the matter.

"Sol, why is there no one else? Except for us two.. When the universe is this vast?" Estraea controlled her emotions carefully as she scrutinized the Absolute's expressions, wanting to detect his reaction.

If he responded negatively, she would back out in a flash. She would snap her finger, disappear into who-knows-where, and lose the Absolute until who-knows-when.

Estraea was ready. Her middle finger and thumb were stuck together, waiting for her to make a finger snap that would act as a cue to propel her away from this lily garden.

In response, the Absolute only hummed.

"Why, you don't like me anymore? You want others?" The Absolute stared into her eyes, making the Goddess' cheeks redden from feeling flustered.

"Not like that! Rae just had a thought.. Wouldn't it be great if we could give life to many more entities? Rae feels like we should do that. We have the power to do it, but we are holding ourselves back. The world is ready.. no?" She pondered with a finger pressed against her plump lips.

They had been going around creating the world and making it flourish, but they hadn't made the denizens that would populate the space.

"..That is true, but can you handle it?" The Absolute tried to look at the matter from the peripheral stages.

The world would still be intact even if life was created, but it needed a concrete core that could hold everything together.

"Rae believes that the two of us can do it," Estraea's eyes were clear and pristine, without a single speck of negative intentions.

In face of such an approach, there were little things that the Absolute could do.

"..Well, it's not like we can't. In fact, I was thinking of making another world separate from this space. If we experiment here and there, wouldn't we eventually succeed in creating the perfect world?" Sol theorized.

Estraea grew excited as her eyes sparkled with delight, wanting to hear more.

"Then, let's make it together!" Rae proposed happily.

"Not that simple. We're talking about an entirely separate realm here.. We can't just let everything roam around as they please, and we can't exactly create things the same way we did before," The Absolute stopped her before anything bad could happen. "Remember, Rae, we are going to be playing with not just one or two lives. We are playing with an entire world. It's our duty to make sure everything goes right,"

"Rae understands. We were granted with the power.. So we should use it for good reasons! Rae promises that she won't do anything bad," Rae stated with glee.

The Absolute heaved a sigh of relief. Estraea was simple-minded, but she was also someone who kept her words. Since she promised, then she wouldn't dare break it.

"But, how are we going to do it?"

"The World Tree.. Or should I say, the Tree of Origin,"

The Tree of Origin was as the name suggested- a tree that held the power of Origin. Origin- meaning the point or place where something begins, arises, or is derived.

Yggdrasil was its name. The Eternal Tree that contained the power that would be the source of everything. The Absolute was someone who wielded the power, but the one that produces the energy itself was the tree.

It could be said that the true owner of the universe should be Yggdrasil. Everything sourced from that tree.

"The Tree of Origin? Rae knows! What about it?" The Goddess asked again.

"Its roots act as a stabilizer for the entire universe. Recently, I have discovered that so long as the roots branches properly, there is a chance that we can create another space or realm separate from this one. It will still be connected to the World Tree, but their stabilizer would be different,"

"..Let Rae simplify this. The roots, they can grow into another stabilizer that serves another realm, and that realm will stay connected with us, but they will be under the... whatever stabilizer they have?"

"More or less, yes," The Absolute nodded as he approved her words.

"Hmm... Rae gets it. Let's do it!"

Sure, they did it. With utter ease and perfection, at that.

The Absolute made sure everything would go well.

Before even creating anything, she taught Estraea to concoct a blueprint for the world. Starting from the locations, down to the races that would inhibit the place.

He taught the Goddess how to create generators that would ease their work in the future. They wouldn't have to worry about every single entity. They could rely on the generator to give each corresponding creations their unique set of random characteristics.

Estraea was put in charge of the world's foundational core, whereas the Absolute worked on creating the world's landscapes- something he was extremely good at.

Estraea loved beautiful things. With her imagination, she managed to create a generator from a race she called 'Spirits'.

They had humanoid features, but they would differ in size in accordance to the power they held. They had wings attached to their backs and would have cosmetic customization from the many arrays of colors that existed.

The holding power of this new realm was the 'child' of Yggdrasil, a mystical Tree that contained traces of Origin Magic as well. However, it was nowhere near the Origin Magic Yggdrasil possessed.

The Tree was called the Spirit Tree. Estraea created a plotline, a history for the founding of the world.

The first race to emerge would be the Spirits, who live in a lush forest that is rich with energy and mana because of their situational benefits- that their enclosures were near the Spirit Tree.

Estraea thought about ways to maintain a connection between the two worlds. One that the denizens would be able to use without coming in contact with the upper realms directly. Estraea granted a status to the Spirits. From the weakest to the strongest, there would be a loose hierarchy.

One that stood above all those would then be called the King. She granted the 'Spirit' or 'Fae' King power to connect with the Spirit Tree.

It would be able to channel the Tree's messages and receive intel. To be precise, the Spirits were unofficial guardians of the world because of their specialties.

A thousand years passed. Building a world from scratch was naturally not easy. It wouldn't take a short while.

From building the world's exterior outlook to the interior section, to the future progression and features of the world, the two worked hand in hand to muster up their best creations.

Estraea ended up creating a total of five races. They were the Humans, Spirits, Dragons, Beastkin, and lastly, Elves.

She granted each of the races exclusive specialties and made their bodies all be based upon humanoid figures. She was most adept at creating humanoid shapes.

She was satisfied looking at the prototypes. She imagined the bustling life that would soon grace the lands the Absolute created.
