Volume 2 Chapter 81: Tell Him To Get Lost
And what Rory said was right! That butler did not know of Keith's background! He returned to the Viscount's mansion to report everything to Viscount Filems.
And the noble's face was livid!
"How dare a brat talk to me that way?!" The Viscount was furious. He heard about the bread from the bakery being a delicacy. But it was run by some brat?! And that brat talked down to him, a noble?!
He turned to the butler, "Find some men to destroy that bakery!" Since he angered him so much, there was no point in holding back!
"Understood!" The butler was prepared as he quickly called out multiple people to attack the shop.
...
Late at night,
"This is the place," People dressed in cloaks were in front of the bakery.
"We should light it on fire and be done with it," One of the assailants said. The group had torches ready in their hands. That was the plan. Light the entire thing up! Before they could get close,
"I don't think so," But a cold voice caused them to pause. They turned to see Michael and the knights!
"It seems you guys don't understand what you should and shouldn't do," Michael had a cold smile as he crunched his knuckles. And like that, the knights got to work and dashed at them.
It didn't take a minute before defeating all of them.
"What do we do about them, Michael?" One of the knights questioned. They tied them all up.
"Who are you?!" The assailants screamed. These guys were not normal at all.
"Shut it." Michael smacked him unconscious, "Anyone else want to talk?"
"..."
"Send them back," Michael looked at one of them. He had left them alive as he stated, "Don't you dare touch that shop. Tell your boss that."
"Who-"
"You guys don't deserve to know. If you touch that bakery, we will destroy you," Michael watched them leave with a cold glare. It sent shivers down their spines.
That bakery should not be touched!
...
"Good job dealing with them," Michael and the knights returned to the estate. They were in William's office.
"No problem,"
"Anything for the young master!"
"Many of our members go there to get something to eat," It wasn't only the townspeople who go there. The knights would go there to get some bread!
The bakery was really friendly to all of them. It was a place for them to relax during the day.
"That Viscount really think he could do something like that?" William had a cold expression.
William understood the moment Keith told him about it during dinner. He knew the Viscount might try to do something to the bakery.
William frowned as he turned to Carter, "Who is that guy again?" He didn't even know him at all.
"Sir, that person rules a land a little farther away from us," Carter explained, "I heard he's a money grubber,"
"We should take them out right now!" Sophia slammed her hands down. She was ready to fight! Being the catalyst, the knights started to scream out as well!
"We should take him out!"
"How dare they try to mess with the young master?!"
"Are they trying to pick a fight with us?!"
"Right now, we don't need to do anything like that," William stated,
"Why not?!"
"I don't want Keith to find out," William knew Keith had asked Carter about the Viscount. Them suddenly disappearing like that would definitely be on his mind!
"We'll suppress them for now," William won't let them go.
He turned to Carter, "Carter, find all the information you can about them,"
"Understood!" Carter nodded.
"Also, Michael. Send a couple of people to be guards for the bakery. I don't want anyone to cause more trouble,"
"Will the kid allow it?" Michael questioned.
"I already got the go-ahead from him," William talked with Keith about adding security to the bakery. With so many people going there, having security would help out.
Hearing that, Keith said it was okay.
"Alright! Will two be enough?"
"Mmhmm," William nodded.
"Commander! Let me do it!"
"Please let me go!"
"I'm the perfect person!"
The knights raised their hands one by one, wanting to be a part of this. That was how great it was. The benefits of working there were really high! From what Ralph and the others said, they get to eat free bread!
"Ahem, I should go. I've been thinking of retiring," Michael coughed as he said this. But the knights stared at him.
Retiring? You're not even that old!
"No, you are not." William shook his head. How is the commander going to take this job? That was overkill.
"Also, I have a special job for you,"
