"Thank you for the meal," Keith said as he wiped his face. He finished dinner.
"I'm going to my room now." Keith got out of his seat. He turned to May, "May, can you come with me for a minute."
"Sure, Young Master." May followed Keith to his room.
"What's the matter, Young Master?"
"Close your eyes for a second." Keith smiled.
"Alright." May closed her eyes, wondering what Keith was doing.
"You can open your eyes!" Keith stated. May opened her eyes and saw a beautiful scarf in his hands.
May blinked her eyes, "Is this scarf for me?"
"Mmmhm! This is a gift I bought for you!" Keith thought long and hard about what to buy for the butlers and maids. But when he saw the scarf, he instantly knew this was for May!
"..." May didn't say anything.
Keith scratched his head, "Do you not like it?"
My taste is bad, after all. In Keith's previous life, he would buy gifts for his apprentices. They loved it, but they would also call it tacky as well.
He had the buying sense of someone who was a grandpa.
"No! I love it! It's perfect!" May quickly shouted. How could she not like it?! It was a gift from her young master!
"Please try it on," Keith stated as he handed the scarf over to her. May didn't wait as she tried it on,
"Is it good on me?"
"Mmhmm! You look beautiful!" Keith stated with a big smile.
"Thank you so much, Young Master." May didn't hesitate as she hugged Keith. She hugged him tightly.
He's my lucky star.
...
"Camelia, why did you call all of us here?" In the dining room, Camelia gave them a glance, telling them she wanted to talk with them after dinner.
"Something happened today," Camelia said.
But Sophia stated, "Mother, can you not rub it in. We know you had fun with Keith and Derek today." They saw the enormous number of clothes that were brought to the manor.
"There was that. Keith and Derek looked so cute in those clothes." Camelia stated, and that caused the three's expressions to turn dark,
"But something else happened today."
"Hmm?"
"What happened?"
Camelia explained what had happened today. And while she did, the expression on the other three went an extra shade darker.
"How dare that brat talk down to you three like that?!" Sophia was furious that someone would say something like that. He was asking for a fight!
"It was the Mills family, right?" William's eyes were cold as he questioned.
"Yes." Camelia nodded.
Lionel was the one who got up from his chair,
"Where are you going, Dear?"
"To get my sword. Going to gut someone." Lionel wasn't a man with many words. However, his actions were enough to make everyone understand how furious he was.
"Father, I'm coming with you! Let me get my sword too!" Sophia stood up!
"Everyone, calm down!" Camelia quickly shouted,
"Listen to what I have to say next," Camelia wasn't finished with her story. And she started to explain about the things that happened afterward. And how Keith was the bigger man in all of this.
Hearing all of this, William and the rest nodded their heads,
"As expected of my son." William nodded.
"Keith is an angel!" Sophia clapped her hands.
Camelia nodded, "That's why we have to calm down."
"But too much kindness is bad," Lionel added. There were times to show off. And that was the time.
"Indeed."
"But we can't let them get away with that," Sophia stated. He talked down to her sons!
"I'll handle that." Camelia's expression turned stern as she said this. And no one said a thing. Angering the Grand Duchess was the child's worst mistake!
...
"Do you have to go so soon?" Camelia questioned.
It was time for Keith and the rest of the family to depart.
"We have to return, Mother." Sophia smiled as she hugged her mother.
"How about Keith lives here, and you guys go back?" Camelia suggested.
"No way!" Instant reply. There was no way Camelia was taking Keith away like that.
Keith smiled, "Grandma, I gave you guys enough yeast to make bread for some time." Keith had prepared a lot of sugar and yeast for her to make bread and cookies. He talked to the chef about the recipes as well.
"I don't care about that. I'm going to miss you." Camelia gave a wry look. She was going to miss her grandchildren.
"I'll write to you and Grandpa."
"Really?"
"Mmhmm." Keith nodded, and Camelia hugged her two grandsons. Keith looked at Lionel, who rubbed his head,
"We'll come to your home when we have time."
"Okay!" Keith's expression brightened. The carriage set off to the gates, ready to leave. But the carriage suddenly stopped.
"What's the matter?" William questioned the coachman.
"Sir, the royal family is in front of us."
"Hmm?" William looked out the window and turned to Keith,
"That's for you."
"Hmm?" He looked out the window and saw it was Carolyn,
"Hi, Carolyn!" Keith smiled. The same couldn't be said for her, as she had a dark expression,
"Why didn't you tell me you will leave today?!"
"Oh." I never did tell her the date we were leaving.
"Sorry. It slipped out of my mind."
"I thought we could play more," Carolyn stated.
Keith smiled, "How about we play when I come back here again?"
"Promise?" Carolyn raised her hand up.
"Promise." Keith nodded and added the pinky promise.
"Remember to write, okay?"
"Sure." Keith laughed. She said the same thing as Camelia.
"Alright! I will see you again!" Carolyn smiled as she watched the carriage drive off.
…
"Keith, you should be more careful," Sophia stated.
"Hmm?"
"You're going to be a sinful man when you grow up." Sophia laughed.
"Eh?" Keith tilted his head.
"You have so many women in your grasp." William shook his head, "Where did he learn it from?"
