Chapter 375: Setting out to snatch the bow
Chapter 375: Setting out to snatch the bow
Alex's men stared dumbfoundedly at Alex because of what he said.
Then they felt that perhaps he overheard them when they were speaking.
"Actually, we were just planning to tell you that this state is not too safe for us at the moment. So, I would advise that we leave and come back some other time" One said.
Alex smiled as he shook his head.
He then asked with that smile still hung on his face "Why do you think it's not safe for us?"
"Well, because of the intense trembling of the entire city that happened many moments ago. I have a feeling that some utterly massive primitive beast wants to break out from deep within the earth in this state. So, we could get destroyed if that beast eventually breaks out from the earth and we are still around. You know, it would leave tens of thousands of corpse and shattered bodies in it path" That person replied while Alex gave a smile.
"Well, you don't need to worry about some beasts, for I am that beast. Keep your mind at ease and do what I asked you to do." Alex with a serious expression in his face.
As soon as Alex said that, his men looked at him with deeply puzzled and astonished expressions in their faces.
They couldn't believe what their master, Alex, just said.
Did he just mention that he is the beast responsible for the heavy quaking of the city?
Then no matter how they thought about it, they couldn't believe what he said. They couldn't believe that their master, Alex, could transform into some behemoth beastly creature that caused all the cracks that they were seeing everywhere in the city to appear. Besides, their master was a human, not a beast. So, they found it really hard to believe what he said.
Alex saw the expressions of disbelief on their faces and then only laughed it off.
He then said after he ended his chuckling "Well, you can think whatever, just know that no beast will break out from under the earth in this city to cause unbridled destruction. Mark my words."
Then as soon as he said that, he turned around to go back to his room to resume his comprehension of the eye-related battle methods and techniques of the two God-eyes that he had summoned.
When Alex left, his men began to look at each other with bewildered expressions in their faces.
They didn't know what to say.
Then one said "Since our Master seems fearless about what we said that some mighty beasts could break out from deep within the earth in this city and then cause great destruction and deaths in it path, perhaps Master knows about the beast, making him not to be frightened about it."
"Hmm. You might probably be right. But if that's actually true, then that means our master is simply a God. In fact, something higher than Gods, since Gods themselves don't have the power to control beast like the one master may be controlling." One said.
He then continued with a baffled expression appearing in his face "But how did Master come across such a beast in the first place and then gain control over it, such that it would obey his every command?"
Once this question was asked, another immediately answered by saying "Well, our master's ways is greatly mysterious. There is nothing we nonentities can do to comprehend or fathom them. Haha!"
He then continued "I guess it's time to return to the errand that master sent us, or he wouldn't be too happy with us when he comes down here and still meet us discussing about something that he has cleared us on"
The others around him nodded their heads in agreement. Then they immediately set out of the inn once again to continue their search for people who were ready to sell their lands to them.
After many minutes that they had left, Alex who had blocked off his hearing to not listen to what they were saying and pay full attention to the methods and techniques in his head that he was trying really hard to comprehend to an extent, suddenly had his eyes snap open with an aura of confidence and formidability exuding from his body.
"I guess it's time" He said with a solemn expression appearing in his face.
Now that he had been able to quickly achieve minor success in four of the numerous, amateur-level Eye Battle techniques of the True Primal God-eyes of Earth Element Control and Planets Movement branded to his powerful memory, which were the Myriad Hearts and Earth Quaker technique, Mortal-Annihilating Sand Geyser technique, Howling Earthwave Demolition Strike and Berserk Lesser Hundred Bonebreaking Hammering Pillar strike, he stood to his feet from his cross-legged position on the ground to go to the place where that burnishing, seemingly Deity-forged Bow was hidden from all forms of senses by the people from the Demon-Chasing academy.
"It's time to make some greedy people cry. Haha!" Alex said and grinned with an aura of mischief beginning to exude from his body.
He then continued with a deep, mischievous smile appearing in his face "Since you don't want it available to anyone, don't fault me if I try to hijack it for myself and make it mine."
He then produced the Azure Beastsman treasure-palace which abruptly teleported him into a room in the palace and instantly shot to where the people of the Demon-Chasing academy kept the bow hidden from view after Alex immediately supplied the Palace-spirit with the location.
Swoosh!
Blazing at an insane speed in another layer of space so that it won't be detected, the treasure-palace finally arrived at the region where the bow was completely obscured from the senses.

Forty minutes ago...
In a particular grand institution in an Oververse (Major World) called Skyhawk Oververse...
"Master Hark, I heard that Empyrean Firelight's bow passed through a chaotic portal to appear in a particular Planeverse, a small backwater world full of irritating puny mortals. Please send me there to go retrieve it for you and bring back some amazing beauties, then many mortal and cultivator slaves for you, Master" A towering male that had a powerfully built body which the armor that he wore couldn't even hide, said with unrestrained arrogance and an unyielding resolute tone in his voice.
