“You located the Prime Minister?”
The soldiers who were watching Ju-Heon were shocked at his bright shout. Actually, Keira and the CIA agents were shocked as well.
‘He found the Prime Minister? This bastard did something even I couldn't do?’
Keira had tried everything she could to locate the Prime Minister. But he managed to do it in a few minutes? Not only that, he did it with these map-type artifacts that had been no help to her?
“Did you really find him?”
“Yes ma’am. I found the Prime Minister using these artifacts that you failed with.”
Ju-Heon casually commented like that. Keira then pointed a gun to Ju-Heon’s head and started to laugh.
“I guess you really must have found him if you can talk shit like that. Then tell me with that damn mouth of yours if you really found him. Where is the Prime Minister right now?”
The atmosphere made it sound like Ju-Heon's head would be blown into pieces if he said he lied, but Ju-Heon answered without even blinking.
“Then give me any piece of paper. I will write the location for you.”
“Who do you think you are trying to fool? Just say it.”
Ju-Heon just laughed in response.
“It doesn't matter to me. But it’s kind of long so I don't know if you guys are smart enough to remember all of it?”
‘This bastard, he really!’
Keira thought for a moment before grudgingly telling a soldier to hand him a piece of paper. However, Yoo Jaeha who was in danger of being killed along with Ju-Heon was crying internally.
‘Stop provoking her so much! I'm definitely going to ask for compensation for emotional distress later!’
Ju-Heon just calmly wrote something on the paper without caring about how his employee was timidly complaining.
They looked like numbers.
“Here you go.”
Keira confirmed the information after receiving the paper and started to frown. There were latitude and longitude coordinates on the paper.
"Are you saying the Prime Minister is here?”
“Exactly.”
“......”
The CIA agents started to shout in response.
“He just wrote down whatever came to his mind!”
“Enough. First figure out what is located at this coordinate.”
Keira's subordinates were angry but started to determine the coordinates. It was easy for them to find the spot because the latitude and longitude were written down to the decimal points.
“The Sahara desert... No, it is a desert by the Egyptian border!”
Ju-Heon started to laugh after hearing that.
“Aigoo, looks like you'll need to hurry if it is the desert.”
One of Keira’s subordinates shouted in anger.
“How can we trust this information?!”
But Ju-Heon wasn’t the type to cower at this.
“It’s fine if you don’t want to trust it. Just know that the poor Prime Minister will be suffering in the desert while you stupidly waste time like this.”
“!”
“It’s probably best for you to quickly move. It’ll be difficult to search once the sun goes down and you don’t know how the desert’s weather will change at night.”
Keira debated for a moment before shouting in a sharp voice.
“It is as he said! Search first!”
“But!”
“Shut up. Tell the excavation team we sent to the Middle East to search the area. Tell them I will temporarily allow them to use the long-distance search artifact. Hurry up!”
“Yes ma’am!”
Ju-Heon laughed saying his job was done while Yoo Jaeha awkwardly smiled and scratched his head as the soldiers ran out.
“Umm, then can we go home now? I hope you can remove that false accusation of fraud too...”
It was at that moment.
Tang!
“Waaaaaaaah!
A bullet brushed past right next to Yoo Jaeha. Yoo Jaeha started to shake as the bullet brushed past his face and Ju-Heon looked at Keira disapprovingly.
Keira was looking at the two of them and smiling.
"Where do you think you're going? You bastards have to stay here until we find the Prime Minister.”
“Damn it, why do we have to do that?!”
Yoo Jaeha became annoyed while Ju-Heon laughed.
“And if you can’t find him?”
“I'll at least let you leave behind a will.”
Keira was glaring at them as they waited to see what happened.
But forget writing a will, Ju-Heon was released after a few hours. During the few hours they had sat in surveillance... The excavation teams in the Middle East and Egypt had sent urgent information back to Keira.
[We found Prime Minister Albert!]
Everybody cheered after hearing that message. It was because this situation could have put the entire US in a complicated mess.
Keira had a rare smile on her face as well.
“Is the Prime Minister safe?”
[Yes ma’am. He seems to be extremely fatigued but he is fine.]
The English Prime Minister had been found in the middle of the desert. He was able to survive because he had been missing for less than a day, but he probably wondered why he ended up in such a mess after just coming for a meeting. Furthermore, an old man close to 70 probably felt like he was in hell being thrown into a desert like this.
Ju-Heon smiled after hearing that the Prime Minister had been located.
“Do you trust me now?”
Keira clicked her tongue and looked toward Ju-Heon.
“Explain how you found the Prime Minister.”
“Why should I?”
“What?”
“I'm sorry but I can’t tell you because it is a business secret.”
“Then I’ll put a bullet through your head right now.”
Yoo Jaeha shook in fear but still said what he needed to say.
"Damn it, you thugs! We even helped you find the Prime Minister! Are you really going to act like this?!”
But Keira just laughed as if she found it to be ridiculous.
“Shut your mouth. You scammers. In the end, the Prime Minister was sent flying to the desert because of you guys.”
Yoo Jaeha was flabbergasted at this unbelievable stubbornness.
"Wow, this is driving me nuts. Hey lady! The one who sent the Prime Minister flying to the sand dunes was you guys! Why is that our fault?!”
But the gun just stayed up. In fact, Keira started to smile arrogantly.
Honestly speaking, she knew that she was responsible for this as well. Although it was an unforeseen accident, she still did put a nation's Prime Minister in danger. But things would get complicated if they accepted that this was their fault. Forget adding England to Pandora, it would cause diplomatic issues.
That was why she needed a scapegoat to bear responsibility instead of the US.
‘I need to do whatever is necessary to make these two bastards the criminals.’
It didn't matter whether the two of them scammed them or not. What was important was that they just needed to announce that these two had sold a suspicious artifact that made the Prime Minister disappear.
However, if there was something that bothered her...
“Tell me before you die. How did you find the Prime Minister?”
Was the fact that Ju-Heon had found the Prime Minister. But Ju-Heon sneered without any fear even in front of the gun.
“Our US General-nim seems to have a memory of a goldfish.”
“What?”
“I told you earlier. The things I wrote with the color pencil. I told you that is an incantation to use an artifact more effectively. I used that to channel more of the artifacts’ abilities.”
“!”
Now that she thought about it, Ju-Heon did write some weird text on the maps earlier. That was why Keira was quickly interested.
“Tell me in detail.”
Ju-Heon smirked and described more of his ‘medicine.’
“It’s simple. You can listen to the artifacts if you write that text down. The artifact just told me those coordinates.”
However, Keira and the CIA agents were shocked to hear that. Even his subordinate bastard who was being threatened with him was shocked.
“What? Artifacts can talk?”
They started to laugh.
"Are you saying that this map-type artifact told you the location of the Prime Minister? And you heard it?”
“Yes?”
“Don’t try to be funny. That’s not possible!”
That could not happen.
“Artifacts can only talk inside tombs. How dare you so shamelessly try to scam us?!”
Ju-Heon's scoff could probably be heard from the sky.
“But I’m not lying? That’s called artifact text and can be used to talk to artifacts. The artifacts are talking as we speak. Listen closely.”
‘What?’
Of course, the artifacts were talking as Ju-Heon mentioned.
[#$#$#(!] [@$&$*(#&(!]
The problem was that he couldn't understand them.
But other people couldn't even hear that alien language. The few people who were gullible enough to listen closely turned red after a few minutes.
“We can’t hear anything!”
Ju-Heon then shamelessly chuckled.
“Then I guess only good people can hear it or something.”
“What?!”
As the soldiers tried to grab Ju-Heon in anger that they were tricked!
“Hold on.”
"General-nim!”
“We just need to test whether this bastard is telling the truth.”
“!”
Unfortunately, the Monarch of War had fallen for it.
And lo and behold, Ju-Heon smiled as if he had caught the big fish.
"What will you test?”
“It’s simple. There is a Special Forces team (TSOF) that we sent to excavate a tomb. Tell me their current location.”
Yoo Jaeha cursed internally after hearing that. ‘How the hell would civilians like us know such top secret military information?’
Keira and the US soldiers were triumphantly smirking as well.
‘There’s no way he would know that.’
Columbus's Map was a possession-type artifact so Ju-Heon wouldn't be able to use it, and the other two artifacts could not be used to determine that information.
One was a map for finding resources in the ocean while the other was a map for searching the abyss where they could not enter.
Ju-Heon soon laughed as if it was nothing.
“Something like that is easy.”
‘What? Really?’
Ju-Heon reached his hand out and channeled his Dominance as soon as he finished speaking. The artifacts started to scream again.
[#($#$((!] [#$$#&$&!]
Of course, they were not responding to the question and just saying things like, ‘you human bastard, stop! Let us sleep!’ They were just grumbling in anger.
But Ju-Heon just shamelessly smiled and answered like this.
“Ah, the artifacts are telling me. They’re telling me the location of your excavation team.”
“!”
“First one.”
Ju-Heon then mentioned multiple locations. Kiera and the US soldiers, to be more specific, the TSOF soldiers, were astonished.
Ju-Heon easily shared accurate information.
‘Unbelievable. This bastard figured out information that civilians would have no way of finding out?’
This was almost impossible unless it was the artifacts. Actually, it would be a terrible leak of top secret information if it was not the artifacts that told him this information.
That was why Keira asked with an anxious gaze that was uncharacteristic for her.
“Can you really hear the artifacts?”
“That's what I said. Ah, then we will be on our way now because it is time for dinner. A total hottie is waiting for me.”
Keira urgently shouted at that moment.
“Get them!”
This was no longer an issue of just putting the blame on them. If this bastard really could hear the artifacts, it was a serious issue if he could get information about other artifacts through the ones he had.
Furthermore, if this bastard was the only one who could listen to the artifacts?
‘The 300 million dollars isn’t the problem.’
Falsely accusing him instead of making him pay for his scam was one thing, but she needed to capture this bastard and take him to the US first. Keira ordered her subordinates to capture them after having that thought.
But the writing in color pencil on the maps flashed and caused an incident.
Bang!
There was suddenly an explosion at the hotel.
“What is going on?!”
The door to the room they were in blasted open as Keira shouted with urgency. They couldn't help but scream. The explosion caused the hotel’s sprinklers to go off and it was hard to see through the smoke and fire.
‘Is it a terrorist incident?!'
Kiera who was already making a lot of enemies due to their aggressive tomb excavation shouted with urgency.
“Protect the artifacts and assess the situation!”
However, something even more astonishing happened at that moment.
“The map is on fire!”
“This damn cursed map!”
The soldiers who were urgently trying to gather the map-type artifacts started to riot for some reason. They ruthlessly ripped the artifacts.
The artifacts who were instantly ripped for no reason could only scream.
[#$&@&@!] [##$(!]
Aigoo you damn humans, what the hell did we ever do to you?!
Aigoo, we’re dying. Dyyyyyyyyyying.
The soldiers who couldn’t hear anything continued to rip the artifacts regardless of whether they screamed or not. They were acting as if they were getting rid of the devil.
Everything had happened almost instantly that Keira could not stop them. She was probably shocked as well because they were all her trusted subordinates.
However, she quickly realized the situation and fired her gun.
"Did you all go crazy?!”
Tang! Tang tang!
The soldiers clenched their legs and snapped out of it once Keira fired her gun. However, the artifacts were already half dead and groaning in pain.
Keira urgently started to look for Ju-Heon and Yoo Jaeha.
“Where the hell are the bastards?! Did they get swept up in the explosion?!”
However, she could not find them no matter how many times she looked. They seemed to have used the chaos to almost instantly disappear.
Keira finally realized that he had pulled one over them and her eyes turned red in anger.
“Those bastards!”
