Chapter 300: Surprising Result, Round 3
[Blade Rhythm: Symphony ]
_Type: class-skill/passive.
_Effect: All of your slashes in projectile form gain more power as they move near each other and refine each other's power. —> Damage +20% on your blade attacks.
[Blade Rhythm: Edgeburst.]
_Type: class-skill/passive.
_Effect: The faster your blade projectiles, the more penetrative and condensed they would become, increasing damage up to 30%.
The Blade Rhythm: Edgeburst, especially worked in every single one of her attacks.
Her next opponent soon arrived, but this time, Rin used Infinite Slash Loop as a support skill.
Rin's hands slightly blurred again, but this time…two vertical slashes two meters long manifested before her.
These two slashes actually had thousands of tiny blades in them!
Pausing time for these two slashes with her Time element, the slashes stayed still in the air while Rin created an Infinite Slash Loop around them.
These two slashes were no simple slashes. Instead, they were Rin's class skill: Twin Dial Slashes.
Moreover, two buffs of her Class's passive skill boosted this active skill.
[Twin Dial Slashes]
_Type: Class-skill.
_Effect: Condense two slashes with tiny blades rhythmically flowing with them.
_Cost: Blade Ki and Prana.
It was hard to create this skill because of its simple yet highly complex structure that housed thousands of tiny blades within two slashes, and she had to make sure they flowed rhythmically inside to prevent projectile breakdown.
Unlike Erix, Rin's build was fully focused and revolved around one thing: Blade.
Her attacks were straightforward, but she had created some flashy skills as well that still had the essence of the blade to grant them effects of her Blade concept.

Rin had four elements, but the fourth was a combination of the upper three, so she didn't actively have to turn her Prana into those elements. She only had to use the Chronace element when it came to fights.
Furthermore, as long as her attacks met conditions, her concept powers' effects would buff her attacks as well.
Just like Erix, she had also created a buff skill like Chaos Call, but hers was a bit different, and she named it Chaos Flow.
Erix could go on full-chaos mode because of his multiple energies to get more reactive damage, but Rin had Chronace Flow as her mainstream energy, so she used the Chaos concept differently.
She could flow her chaos concept and keep it chaotically flowing to a certain degree. She had to do it this way to get more potential out of the Chaos concept, just like how Erix used the Chaos concept in his way to get its full potential.
The two vertical slashes with the ring flowing around them shot towards the 3rd opponent that arrived. It was a ten-meter-tall giant with two heads and holding two curved blades.
The Twin Dial Slash surrounded by the Infinite Slash Loop shot forward and in the blink of an eye, struck the giant's chest.
When it struck, those two slashes instantly expanded, releasing the thousands of blades from inside that chaotic flow, while the Inifnite Blade Loop also dissolved into a chaotic flow, carrying those thousands of blades that pierced and slashed into every corner of the monster while individually exploding.
The result? Instant, chaotic, and comprehensive death.
…
The 2nd round finished, but surprisingly, only 19 people were eliminated.
"It looks like the remaining people are not bad," Erix commented upon sensing the number of participants.
"The third round sounds good. It will eliminate many," Rin said as she looked at the rules.
[Round 3: Feast of the Ancients]
_Rules:
—> Everyone will be transported to a battlefield of abundance monsters.
—> The participants won't be able to hurt each other, but competition between them must remain fierce because the first 100 people to have killed 10,000 monsters will pass the round.
"I'll summon a lot of Animated Spirits for this," Aria grinned. "We just have to kill faster and prevent others from killing."
"Yep."
The third round started, and everyone arrived on a giant and vast floating island at random places.
[Leaving the island will result in disqualification.]
[The new batch of monsters will spawn every 10 seconds.]
After ten seconds of countdown that everyone saw in the sky, the monsters of varying sizes suddenly spawned at once.
From strange floating rock monsters to beastly monsters to plant-type monsters…exotic types of monsters spawned, and the mayhem began.
Rin adopted a simple way as she had a couple of perfect skills to kill faster and more.
[Chaotic Field: Blade Storm]
_Effect: Creates a spherical field of Chronace Flow that perpetually produces blades with the formation that chaotically flows around you.
Anything within Rin's ten meters instantly gets shredded by chaotic blades that would actively leave the field and attack.
In case some tough monsters entered the field, they would get obliterated.
However, Rin didn't even stop and flew at lightning speed while leaving shards of tiny blades behind stuck in Time.
[Chaotic Trap Blades]
_Effect: Chronace Blades made up of passive chaos flows within them, but are paused by Time until they are triggered.
This was essentially a trap skill, but a constant. At the cost of Prana, and if she wanted to buff attacks, then also Spirit energy, Rin could blanket whatever area she moved through with Chaotic Trap Blades.
Flying at full speed with her [Chaotic Field: Blade storm] and laying Chaotic Trap Blades behind, no monster survived.
People around were dumbfounded watching her stealing and killing at lightning speed.
Some resorted to large-area skills, but the monsters were not slabs of butter. The full large area skills consumed more energy and dealt less damage, so monsters could survive such attacks while people would lose energies faster.
On the other hand, Erix rained down punches and took out his big gun skill for quick and mass killings.
[Punch Factory]
