Chapter 106: Forgotten People Unforgotten Memories
The same went for the Custard but they ate it with care while blowing some air as it was very hot.
The faces of little girls while trying to blow the custard bites was really remarkable and would even bring a smile on a sad person, it looked so sweet that one might even let go of all the sweet desserts and just see them eating those Custard tarts.
The two ladies and Ye Qian had a loving smile, while they saw Little Qiqi and Little Jia eating their eyes were filled with love and care.
__________
Meanwhile at the entrance.
"Good afternoon, Big Miss."
The waiter had just come out of Ye Qian's room he saw the lady coming to the restaurant.
He had been working there for more than five years so he knew her very well.
"Hello."
The lady seemed to behave a bit different here.
"So would Big Miss want the same room or a different one."
"Huh, why do you ask, Shi?"
The lady raised her brows and asked.
She would some her every time she came out and she had the same room every time she went to the Grandma's Kitchen and this was the first time she was asked such a question.
"The waiter smiled and said Big Miss there is a large family in there and they are about to finish, if you want then I can still ask them to come out?"
The waiter understood her question and nodded while glancing at the room.
"Let them be if it's a family I don't want to disturb them, and it's not like I need such a big table when I am going to eat alone."
The lady sighed and walked to the small room which was next to her.
She used to come with her parents, brother and grandparents when she was about seven or eight years so she was quite attached to this place and that was the reason this restaurant was still in the mall after so many years.
But then the mall was small and it was renovated a number of times but it was because of her that the restaurant remained in the mall in spite of the other things and food courts in the mall.
She was about to open the door and walk in when she heard a beaming cry.
"Papa, this is so tasty!"
Of course, it was Little Qiqi who exclaimed as she took the first bite of the Custard tart.
'Huh, this is the sound of the little girl from before are they here?'
The lady turned back to the waiter and asked.
"How many people are there?"
"Hmm, Big Miss there are two small girls, they are really lovely and cute and their father and about five women."
The waiter said and a cheerful smile appeared on his lips.
Ever since he saw the little girls he was feeling his worries were gone and he was very happy.
"Hmm."
The lady nodded and smiled at the room while she turned to the other room and gave her order.
She remembered the time when she used to come here and sighed again.
Every time she came it was only her now, her mother died, her father seemed to have no worries about her now, and her brother was busy handling the business, it was only a while after she was admitted in the sect that her grandparents also died.
Now it was only her.
She sighed again as a tear rolled down the corner of her eyes.
__________
"So are you done now?"
Ye Qian asked as he wiped the girl's mouths with the tissues careful.
"Hmm."
The girls nodded and closed their eyes to let him wipe it completely.
"So let's go now."
Ye Qian said and stood up while picking the girls up as they were having a hard time walking out to the table.
"Big Brother Qian, I think we must leave now and our friends must also be waiting for us by now?"
Yanran said while glancing at Yu Lan.
She knew there was no way Yu Lan would want to leave so it was only right for her to ask.
Lin frowned and glanced at Yanran.
Tough she rarely like being out with others this time she was really enjoying everything, with them even though they just had lunch and a few talks.
But she really enjoyed the time she spent with Ye Qian and his family, the two little girls and their mothers gave her a feeling that she had never felt for a long time since according to her she was a descendant of a "Powerful and High-Status Family".
The last time she felt so was about a few years back when she had just changed the High School and no one knew of her family and her friends treated her really like friends, but later it was like they left her not daring to be with her because of her status.
But now she was treated like a normal girl, though she knew she would have to leave them soon, she still didn't want to lose such things.
Yanrans's words made her sad.
"Since you have your friends waiting for you then I don't think it is nice for you to be with us, I hope we will meet soon."
Ye Qian nodded and said with modesty.
"Lan'er, you know the house right?"
"Hmm."
Yu Lan nodded and didn't say anything.
"Mengmeng, give her your number that will be helpful for her later."
Ye Qian nodded and said to Yuan Meng.
Yu Lan was happy that Ye Qian was still trying to be in contact with her.
She quickly turned to Yuan Meng and exchanged her numbers.
She was a bit astounded seeing Yuan Meng and Ning Wei both had simple phones and later found that Ye Qian didn't even have one.
Lin and Yanran were also dumbfounded after knowing this.
'Which age is he living in?'
That was the only question in their mind after knowing Ye Qian was having no phone much less a simple one.
